Episode Summary
ROUND 1: THE SPEED ROUND - He Ain't Heavy He's My Log
Contestants face a huge log and are instructed to cut it down to a 27 pound log. There is a scale nearby and they can weigh it as much as they want, but this is a timed event so they better move quickly. The closest to 27 lbs is the winner.
ROUND 2: THE FINESSE ROUND - Paint by Numbers
Contestants are challenged to paint a giant canvas that has various sections, each containing a number. Each number coincides with a specific color from a paint sprayer. As the contestants paint, they reveal a masterful work of art. The contestant that completes the canvas with the best accuracy and style wins.
ROUND 3: THE BACKYARD GAUNTLET
Leg 1: High Chop
In this competition, contestants must cut through four wood beams at the top of a trellis. As each piece of wood is cut, a flag pops up, showing the completion of that step. But contestants will have to watch out because there will also be balloons filled with flour at the top of the trellis and one false move will result in the contestant being powdered!
Leg 2: Where's My Automobile?!
Contestants are each shown one of the dirtiest cars in the history of the world. Armed with the power washer, they must clean the car sufficiently enough to find a hidden three number code that is written somewhere on the car. Once they find the three number code, they can then move on and use that code to unlock a safe that contains the keys to the zero turn mower, a necessary item for the next leg.
Leg 3: Gnome Turning Back
Contestants hop onto the zero turn mower and must navigate an obstacle course with hard turns and a difficult final slalom stretch. Along the way, there are garden gnomes placed at various key points and for each one you break two seconds is added to your final time.
